One Watt Contact To Slovenia on 20 Meters

I had a cool contact last night with Slovenia riding the grey line propagation. I sent one watt over to Slovenia on 20 meters and the signal was a S-8. We actually had a good QSO. The 10/11 metes was dead so I wanted to try a little experiment with the grey line propagation before it went out. The bottom line is you can have the best antenna and bushels of power on tap but if Mother Nature isn't there to help, then you have to wait around for her to come around. A HF probation map is a good heads up when Mother Nature will be knocking on your door.
