Noise toy help
I have a bag of noise toys like 12 only 2 are labeled. I want to test them but can’t get them to do nothing but produce a tone or squeal most have 5 wires. Would it be something like 12v +/- audio into the radio/mic plug pin 2 and 2 wires to activate such as a switch?? Any help would be great. Btw some are in plastic cases some are not

I have no clue, most of those were 4 wire, one for board power (usually not 12v) one to the audio (mic), one to ground or negative board power, and last, one to switch it on (mainly the PTT switch. If you can find the CB Tricks website that works, he had schematics and instruction to some noise toys there.

IMO...best thing to do with them is find the nearest trash can and drop them in!

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Ty JesseJames for your input. However was a lil off topic. I needed help with wiring not proper disposal. Every topic I’ve read has at least one person expressing their opinion. Again ty but it’s more of me tinkering not trying to please the CB Nation

Hmm, 5 wires is making me think they are echo boards more than just noise toys.
