Ok i have a 2008 dodge ram pickup... shall i get a fiberglass or magmount i saw a guy going northbound 75
two weeks ago he had a magmount a friend she had one as well on her pickup

yes i agree with flattop on the mag mount wilson, have dealt with them on pickups, the only thing that could outperform it would be a steel whip on the roof,

I would agree with the others on the Wilson 5000, the Stryker SR-A10 is also a good choice, they both come magnet mounts and if you decide to permanent mount it, both just unscrew from the magnet.
My only suggestion if you go with another antenna is don't go short, I suggest 4ft or longer will give you a broader bandwidth. Short antennas tend to have a high SWR on the ends of the band.
