Post by InADream »

I am getting ready to purchase a radio.... I have been thinking about this for sometime... I need a radio that is not to expensive but is a good radio... I have been looking into these radios...

Cobra 25
Cobra 29
Galaxy 929

My Question is what are the watts RMS and swing, and dead key on these... Of course all after peaked and tuned...

Thanks in advance will be purchasing one of them tonight.....

All are good single final radios. All will max out at about 12-15 watts PEP.

How much are you looking to spend ?

We have some good sponsors here that can get you into better radios at resonable prices.

Click on the links at the bottom of the forum for Radio Active or Sparkys and talk to them about what radios they have.

Are you wanting to run an amp with your setup now or in the future.

What kind of antenna are you going to run ( More important than the radio )

What kind of mic or coax ?

These are the questions you need to have the answers for before you buy. Many of us have learned the hard way by spending thousands of dollars on radio equipment that we did not need to. If we can, we will help you to not spend more than you need to.
