Will the Palomar max mod transistor replace the 2SD717 transistor in the power supply circuit in a Cobra 2000 gtl.

I believe it will replace the AM regulator but to be safe email Palomar directly at info@PalomarElectronics.com , they will get back to you in a couple days. Be specific with your question to them, radio transistor you want to change, etc., like us they hate to guess at mods.
