I have a wilson 1 K and the connectore portion is no good so is left ia a good whip and good base, no mag or anythig. So i am not able to create any ground with this, how would i go about making a ground so i could use this as a base or as a mobile again on a stud?
The coils inside are good the base and whip are fine but the mag mount piece that screws in is no good, but the actually antenna with the base load are in perfect condition.
It sounds like all you really need is the right 'connector' for the antenna to fit on. some manufacturers use a really proprietary type thingy and you'd have to get one from them. Other manufacturers use a sort of 'tandard' type of whatever connector it is. No idea which you may have, good luck.
