On the base...a Galaxy 66v into a Galaxy two pill (2879's) into a

Anyways I was running a Uniden PC 66 in my truck, tonight I just swapped it out for a Uniden PC68LTW.

General Lee peaked and tuned by my local tech with an Astatic 636L into a Wilson 1000 Mag on the roof. Occasionally, I swap out a stock Magnum S-980 when I want to change things up.

It depends from week to week, I have a few to choose from. I have an 88, 3300hp, rci 6300f25, couple of 29's, but right now, Im running a third generation Cobra 200 that is doing well. I had one of the first gens. and it sucked after two weeks. This one is doing really well surprisingly, I have been waiting on it to crap but so far its still going strong. Antenna is the old faithful 102". For 2 meter, Im running a Icom 2200h with a Antenna Specialists 5/8.

I'm runnin' a RadioActive DX99V.
It does 15-18 RMS. DK 1.5 swings 45-50 .
Barefoot it's good for a 5S unit carrier at 15 miles.
At 15 miles it still swings forward 2S units from there when I modulate.

Well I just moved all my stuff out of the Geo Metro and back into my F150 I run a Galaxy 88 1x2, 16 pill fatboy into a 10k. I use a 400 Motor Maul to power the the 16 it does a good job. But here in Central Fl. I am just a Small Duck!

Nothing special. I rotate between several radios and antennas, but most of the time- Tx Ranger tr966(d104m6b mic), into a tx star swt16, into a worldwide 16 pill, into a puck mounted 10k, all LMR400 coax, 2/0 cable. I run on average a 2:1 swing vs. deadkey at most, so no swing really here to speak of so I'm a mauler. For stationary at the park operation I have a variety of 2 hot, dual polarity, and other odd antennas. As you can see just a run on of the mill mudduck for this north texas crowd here, hoping to go bigger one day.

Swp/Sr Galaxy 939, 1 X mrf455, ss102" whip with a 6" ss extension. Radio dk's .5 - 3.5 w's, and swing's to 15 w's. With .5 w out of the radio, the amp dk's 15 w's and swing's to 50 w's. Swr is 1.1, and can move needle's 50 miles out.

The external speaker makes all the difference in the world. I had it running with my GL and now with this radio. Great sounding speaker. Gives a lot of depth to the receive. It actually sits back down on the floor now and that takes even more sharpness out of the normal "white noise" while giving plenty of audio.

Those are some nice rigs that all yall have. Im relatively new to the cb world but i do know that i have caught the bug and i want more power and more toys. im thinkin connex 3300 with some form of amp running behind that bad boy
