distorted recieve

I have a uniden pc 68 in my work truck.It's very hard to understand what is being said,everything sounds slightly distorted,even with an external speaker.Is there any way to fix this or is this the way they are?

radio needs aligned, you have to take it to a good shop, alot of shops pesk a radio, but no many align them

And, from what I have been seeing, for that radio, Al at Sparky's it the way to go.

Big Bopper is the King! He gives great advise and Al at Sparky's will hook you up. I just purchased a Cobra 135xlr and Al quoted me a super price on a peak and alignment. These guy's on this message board have helped me greatly. Let's put it this way....... The shipping is going to be way more than the work being performed!!!!!!!!!!!!!
