I'm a newbie. Great forum. I have a Cobra 29 LTD WX Classic. It has sat for 2 years. I just installed it in a 2005 Crown Vic with a new Wilson 1000. from this last install the swr/power meter has not worked. everything else appeared OK. Then the darn unit would not power off. i would turn the switch off but the lights would still be on. now when i key the mike the ANT light lights up red. Is this thing shot or is there something loose or blown. thanks for your replies.

i dont think its shot i think ya just got a short in it and it needs a little T.L.C a good tech should be able make it work right

Check with AL at Sparky's (sponser). He works on Cobras a lot.
