Listen to the scanner via you pc

I just thought for any body who hasnt learned about this .

Go to the website,click on your state,counties in blue have live feeds ,click on your county then the next page Launch the county web player on the right.You can also change the program it feeds threw at the bottom.Shows 6 options for me.I usually just run it on another firefox page.Depending on where you are the player may have several feeds at once.Being as i live way up north only 1 usually plays for my county.You do need to click on the play button and then it will say buffering. Pretty NEAT

If you go to the main page ,you scroll over the "live audio" link in the blue bar then in the drop down menu click "Live Audio Home"

I agree with muddskiper on this -the only drawback is not all counties have live feeds- so if your county is not shaded in blue such as mine your S.O.L. and counties who do have it can shut it down if they choose to by diffrent agencies who serve that county.But if you live in one area of a state and you want to listen to a county or a city clear on the other side of the state this is possible through this live audible link and yep its pretty cool!- try it .

I've been using that site for years. I don't use it to listen to my local agencies because I have no control over what it is I want to hear. But I'll use it to listen to other cities.

Today is going to be a busy day in Alington Texas. Ill be listen to there frequency today for the Super Bowl. This is going to be interesting
