Any ideas on mag mount?

I mean the box is already grounded though via a groundstrap, as well is the antenna mount it self.

i'm thinking your not going to get the swr down unless you space the antenna's farther apart.
just for testing, take off the extra antenna and see what the result is.

I have used a Little Wil on my car for six months but am very dissatisfied with my SWR readings on it (can't get 1 or 40 equalized below 3.0 according to one SWR meter). No one seems to hear me when I'm talking, either. The year before that I used a top-loaded 2ft fiberglass antenna with a spring and magnet mount and seemed to do much better with that. The only reason I'm sticking with the Little Wil for now is because I paid a good $36 for it (so it should work right, right?!!) and so I've been bound and determined to keep trying to make it work well.
