Okay I know there are at least 20 threads about this subject but I just wanted to get a little more specific.
I drive a F150 and have a 102 SS whip (which is a coil FREE ANTENNA) as you know..lol....on a potbelly spring on the back side-center of an aluminum tool box. I'm getting about 300 Watts out of my little 2 pill and swr is 1.3 ish
Okay now for the question... what if any gains do you think that I may see out of a coil antenna? I've heard both sides.... does anything beat a SS whip at only 300 Watts?????
Probably will go with a MONKEY MADE main reason I've heard such reports from him and Monkey is about 20 miles north of me.
Thoughts experiences..please share

Just my 2 cents worth but I think by switching over to a MonkeyMade you wont get as much whipping of the whip which can cause distortions in your pattern and your SWR to sway due to reflect. I'm sure our Antenna Gurus with more knowledge can chime in on this better. Bets regards and enjoy the remaining of your weekend................
