Do you have a bar behind the cab that supports the air lines?
I have also seen antenna's mounted on the cross brace on the cab extensions.

Any place that will allow an antenna to be mounted a 'reasonable' distance from metal, meaning clear of the rest of the body, that is strong enough to support the antenna and mount, and that isn't obstructing stuff, ought'a work okay.
That could range from the front bumper to the top of the cab just depending on the antenna. You are a lot more familiar with your truck than I am, so where -could- you put an antenna?

Do you have an airdeflector on top of the cab or is it a flattop?
There is usually metal braces/supports on an air deflector that could support an antenna.
Another idea would be to fabricate a bracket that would bolt between the hose hanging bar and the back of the sleeper. That bar will just shake if you put a 4' extension on it for an antenna. The bracket should run straight up and hopefully you can find a place to put a bolt in at the top.

I have doubts about the six foot thing being short enough to mount on the cab roof and not getting 'clipped' by bridges etc. But, if you think it'd clear them, that's where I'd put it. 'Course, that depends on the cab being metal and so on. (If I had a dime for everything I don't know about trucks, I'd be rich!)

Doc is right about the 6' on top of the cab hitting bridges.
I drive a '06 IH daycab 9200 and anything over 65" starts to hit things.
How about those brackets designed to hold load bars? Can something like that be adapted for an antenna mount? Too bad you don't pull a flatbed and have one of those giant "headache racks".
