Looking at the pictures, the guy wires seem rather close to the beam. You may need to break them up with insulators every 6 to 9 feet or so to make sure they aren't affecting the beam. They may be the reason your calculations are off.
Nice looking beam. I'm impressed. For your next project you need to add another element....

No sense taking baby steps.
Add two elements, either quad loops or yagi's, I think you'll find the tuning will be easier.
