Here is my breedlove/ 17" shaft comp coil predator 10K setup on my dodge dakota. [ external image ] [ external image ] [ external image ]
I hope to upgrade the backing plate some time, but this one works surprisingly well. And I need to get a 1/2 inch stud L bottom connector so I can put my head liner back in. of coarse I need to upgrade my coax to the absolute best for power and loss before hand so i wont have to take the headliner back down any time soon.
A BIG THANKS GOES OUT TO MOJO!

I have seen them but I dont know much about them. And I really did not think about that as a option...I will consider using that setup. If i remember right that setup is very low profile, right?
Is that Harbour Ind's mil-spec coax you have there? I use it in my F150s.

Well, it musta been hungry. they said they needed donations. . . .since the forum ATE my original post"
BTW, very cool photos. If I could figure out how to get my headliner out and back in without destroying it I'd get rid of the big magnet nest holding my antenna onto the roof of my SUV.

Yeah about not destroying the headliner...I tore mine up. It is not so bad I cant put it back in, but I dont think I am going to. The headliner was sagging anyways...
