Those are decent little mag mounts. Not quite a Wilson 5k or anything, but still decent.

You said it would put out 300w, but it's supposed to handle 300w. I wouldn't count on it amplifying your signal or anything.

It should work fine for a barefoot rig, or something with a small amp. Most you will probably lose is RX.

Hi

I had the Lil Wil and now use the Wilson 1000 trunk mount. Man what a difference. The only problem I have is the 1000 hits the parking garage roof if I forget to unscrew it.

Go with the full size Wilson base loaded mount if you can, you will be much happier with the results in both receive and in transmit.

My 2 cents
Respectfully as always,

Rick

i agree with cb doctor 100%... you'll want the wilson 1000 real soon, if you're addicted to the hobby like the rest of us. but then soon after that, you'll be buying another antenna.... and so on and so forth.... as far as bang for the buck, and if you're not a cb radio fanatic, lil will is a great choice!

I had a K30 on my truck. I wanted a bigger antenna and looked at some prices. I ended up putting a 102 on the truck. Bought all the parts locally and EVERYTHING used to set it up was still cheaper then the wilson 1000.

I heard the new Wilson antennas were being made in China and were pretty much junk now.
