Well I took that copper coil off of my antenna and got a lot of radio on channel 6 so I think that copper coil was not helping lol. So I am going to order the big whip handheld antenna for this thing. Man there is ALOT of radio on channel 6 right now! Any other advice for this radio: Cobra HH 38 WXST thanks!

any reason as to why you got a hand held?

I needed a radio for security. Someday I will get a good mobile (Galaxy 979) but not for my Mustang GT lol - it 'll be for my dream truck lol.
