No...Those are Davemades, out of NJ. They do look like Predators, but are welded and not screwed together like the 10K's. Mr. Coily also use to build a antenna that looked like the 10K's, but was also welded together.

Nothing wrong with welding the thing together...They will still work the same, but you just wouldn't be able to swap-out shafts or coils like you can with the 10K's...

Kind of pricey, but I would think a welded antenna vs an antenna with a screw could handle more watts. I knew I would be wrong about this

Depends on how the thing is screwed together! Just looking at a Predator 10K, you would not know the thing has over 20 parts to it!

I know several guys here in the Dallas area running over 10,000w's threw 10K's, and never had any problems...There have been several post made here, and on other Forums, that claimed their 10K's either melted or arced at less than 5000w's...I still find this hard to believe, since some of the guys here, can run more than that threw their 10K's just using their driver box's...

"IF" a Predator 10K arced or melted at less than 10,000w's, I would have to say that either there was a problem with that 10K, or the set-up to start with...
