Found a site that talks about antennas in 'lay-man's language, and is quite good. (Well, I didn't really find it, someone else did and posted it someplace else. But it IS done very well.) It is not a short read, it is quite long. But antennas are not a short subject either. I haven't read it all yet, so can only say that it doesn't deviate from accepted theory as far as I've gotten. Not a lot of 'higher' mathematics so isn't much of a headache maker, kind'a.
I'd recommend reading it. At the very least, it'll give a different view point on some things. The link/address follows, if I do it right...
