Welcome, stay a while. Well, we'd probably need to see pics of the damage but it sounds like you could salvage it as far as the magnet but you'd want to replace the coax unless the damage is near the end or something. Due to the nature of the coax, you would not want to repair or splice it, as it would not work well. Got any pics?, and tell us about yourself.

The magnet may re-glue decently, but the magnet integrity may be important to SWR's and you want to be sure that the magnet won't come loose or unglue at 70mph!
If you can get that to be a solid repair for cheap, the coax is replaceable. I had one done by a shop for $20.00.
I think a new one is much more $$ than that.
5ft Fiberglass behind the cab would get you away from running the coax across the roof to the Wilson 1000, but the height of the Wilson 1000 will beat out the performance of the fiberglass antenna.
Would a Wilson 2000 or a Predator 10k on a pipe behind the cab be in the cards for you?

Scrap it all, and just go buy all New...Not worth all the head-aches to try and salvage a damaged antenna and coax...specially since part of it's missing anyway!

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

....guess I'm just a pack-rat. I try to save everything...and if not....those parts might just come in handy one day for SOMETHING.

also......
would it be a good idea if I just bought a new magnetic base and coax then screwed the wilson 1000 piece on with a 64" whip?
another possibility is maybe going with the 102" whip, which would of course would look silly coming off my lil sonoma....so maybe not.....but if so mount on maybe a ball mount on the my toolbox.....
