PLEASE HELP WITH 10K
ORDERING A PREDATOR 10K TONIGHT GOT THE WIFE TALKED INTO IT SO I NEED TO DECIDE WHAT EXACTLY I NEED BEFORE SHE CHANGES HER MIND. RIGHT NOW I HAVE A WILSON ROOF MOUNT ON MY SUV. IN A PERFECT WORLD I COULD SCREW THAT 10K RIGHT ON WERE THE WILSON COMES OFF ANYONE KNOW IF THAT IS POSSIBLE AND i'M LOOKING FOR EARS EARS EARS WHICH 10K WOULD YOU GUYS SUGGEST I'LL GO UP TO 6 FEET NO HIGHER (LOWER WOULD BE GREAT) THANKS THANKS AND THANKS AGAIN. WRONG WAY

17" shaft, Predator 10K Comp.........This is a Narrow banded antenna though, but if your mainly using it for the regular 40 CB Channels, it is the one you want...(tunes at around 5.5' to 6')
If your going to be hitting any of the 10 Meter Bands, then you may want to go with the regular Single Coil Predator since it's more broad banded...(tunes at around 6.5' to 7')
The 17" shaft (shaft is the part thats below the coil) tunes real good on roof mounts...
The Predators use a standard size mounting lug, like what the 102" Whip uses, so it may screw right in place where your Wilson is now...

IF I WANT EARS AND BROAD BANDED AND SIX FEET WOULD THE 17" SHAFT DUAL COIL BE OKAY OR IS THERE ANY DISADVANTAGES TO THE DUAL COIL??? THANKS FOR THE REPLY WHERE WOULD YOU SUGGEST I PURCHASE FROM??
