Good antenna for an ARGO ?
Looking for some ideas for antenna and placement on a 8x8 ARGO. NGP antenna ?

Probably your best bet. Wilson has a 4ft fiberglass NGP antenna for about $60. I use it here in my apartment as a base antenna, because of restrictions of course. Distance wise, it doesn't tx or rx like a real antenna, but for what you are looking to put it on, I would say it would work. I wouldn't expect to lock down the town with it though.
